Day Out with Thomas at East Lancashire Railway
The East Lancashire Railway in Bury offers Day Out with Thomas sessions, where children can ride a replica Thomas the Tank Engine through the countryside to Ramsbottom and back. The event includes live performances at Bury Transport Museum, a treasure hunt, funfair rides, and workshops.
Road to Nashville at Victoria Warehouse
Country music fans can enjoy tribute acts to Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Morgan Wallen, and Teddy Swims at Victoria Warehouse on Saturday from 2pm to 10pm. Activities include line-dancing, BBQ, axe throwing, and a rodeo bull.
Team England National Sport Weekend
Team England hosts free sports activities across Manchester, including swimming, dodgeball, HYROX tasters at Moss Side Leisure Centre, junior gym, swimming, diving at Manchester Aquatics Centre, and BMX and table tennis at the National Cycling Centre. Some sessions require advance booking.
Stockport 10k Race
On Sunday, the first Stockport 10k starts at Edgeley Park, home of Stockport County FC, at 9am. The flat course is designed for personal bests and photo finishes.
