Man Utd Champions League 2026-27 Schedule: Fixtures After European Games
Man Utd Champions League 2026-27: Post-European Fixtures

Manchester United are guaranteed to play at least eight more fixtures next season after qualifying for the Champions League. Entering at the third round of both domestic cup competitions means Man United will have a minimum of 48 fixtures in the 2026-27 campaign, a significant increase from the 40 they played in 2025-26.

Champions League Return

Man Utd are back in Europe’s premier club competition, which kicks off earlier than usual. The league phase begins the week commencing September 8, with fixtures scheduled across three days. A one-month gap follows due to the first international break being extended to three weeks, from September 19 to October 10.

United last won the Champions League in 2008, beating Chelsea on penalties in the first all-Premier League final. This will be their first time participating under the new format.

Michael Carrick did a fine job to secure Champions League football for Man United. The team is in pot two for the draw, which takes place at the end of August. However, the 2026-27 Champions League schedule has already been revealed.

Premier League Fixtures After European Games

With United discovering their Premier League fixture list on Friday morning, they now know who they will face after each of their eight European fixtures. The schedule is extremely kind to Carrick’s side, with five home games directly after a Champions League fixture. However, two of those games are against their closest rivals: Manchester City after matchday one and Liverpool after matchday eight.
