Some of the UK’s most prominent football and internet personalities — including Lionesses hero Chloe Kelly, YouTuber KSI, and pundit Micah Richards — have been turned into playable table football figures as part of a new global partnership between Heineken and Baller League.
Bespoke Foosballer Table Design
The bespoke "Foosballer Table" mirrors the competition’s fast-paced six-a-side format, blending modern creator culture with traditional British pub heritage. Alongside Kelly, KSI, and Richards, the custom figures feature Premier League midfielder Alex Iwobi, former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann, and YouTube broadcaster Mark Goldbridge, as well as league talents including Joe Bennett, Montel McKenzie, Kaz Sterling, Dom Pires, Kadell Daniel, and Alfie Matthews.
Engineered specifically for the collaboration, the tables include pub-inspired design touches such as Heineken bar-tap handles, integrated bottle holders, LED lighting, and effects mimicking the tournament's signature goal celebrations.
Bridging Digital Fandom and In-Person Socialising
The installation aims to bridge the gap between digital fandom and in-person socialising. Since its launch in 2024, Baller League has grown rapidly by combining high-tempo football with live streaming and creator participation. Its UK third season drew an average of 1.3 million live viewers per matchday, rising to 1.85 million for the Final Four, with more than 70 per cent of its audience aged between 18 and 34.
Supporters attending fixtures during UK Season 4 at the Baller League Arena in Eastbrook Studios, Dagenham, will be able to play on the tables and challenge the league's stars, managers, and influencers. Limited-edition units are also being rolled out across selected Heineken Star Bars and venues nationwide.
Partnership Perspectives
Nabil Nasser, global head of Heineken, noted that football fandom is evolving rapidly into formats built around shared participation both online and in person, making the league a natural fit for the brewer.
Baller League chief executive Felix Starck added that the tie-up allows the competition to extend beyond screens and the arena into communal social spaces where supporters naturally gather to enjoy the game.
