Tickets for the long-awaited fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will go on sale this week, with the cheapest seats at the Principality Stadium priced at £75. The two giants of British boxing are finally set to meet on 11 December in the Welsh capital, a clash more than a decade in the making.
Ticket details and sale date
More than 80,000 tickets will be released on Friday 9 October at 12:00 UK time via Ticketmaster. An official press release confirmed that even the most affordable tickets will cost £75, while VIP seats are expected to exceed £1,000. Further pricing tiers have not yet been announced.
Fans attending the event should prepare for a late night, as ringwalks for the main event are not expected before 1am at the earliest. The scheduling aims to cater to an American audience, with Netflix streaming the fight live.
Late-night precedent
A similar late-night schedule was set nearly 20 years ago when Joe Calzaghe faced Mikkel Kessler at the Principality Stadium in 2007, with the fight taking place in the early hours of the morning.
Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn said last month: "I think that's going to be decided by Netflix and Turki Al-Sheikh, it's my understanding it will be around 1am, 1.30am, but again, if it creeps to 2am, I don't know."
Fight odds and stadium pedigree
Betfair lists Fury as the favourite at 8/15, with Joshua at 13/8 and a draw at 16/1. The fight is expected to be a sell-out, with both fighters accustomed to performing in front of massive crowds.
Fury sold out Wembley for his WBC heavyweight title defence against Dillian Whyte in 2022 and has also fought in front of large stadium crowds at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Arslanbek Makhmudov and Derek Chisora. Joshua, meanwhile, fought at a sold-out Wembley in 2024 against Daniel Dubois, his third fight at the venue. He has previously fought twice at the Principality, in 2017 and 2018, defending his world titles against Carlos Takam and later beating Joseph Parker.
