Bournemouth have signed former Tottenham goalkeeper Fraser Forster, with the 37-year-old registered in time for Saturday's Premier League match against Arsenal. The veteran shot-stopper has been without a club since his release from Spurs in the summer.
Forster is expected to provide cover for Djordje Petrovic, who has struggled in goal this season, conceding 29 goals in 17 appearances. The Cherries have not kept a clean sheet since a goalless draw with Chelsea in early December and sit 15th in the table, nine points above the relegation zone.
Arsenal travel to the Vitality Stadium as league leaders, four points clear of Manchester City. Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed Riccardo Calafiori and Cristhian Mosquera will miss the match, while Declan Rice is a doubt with a knee swelling.
