The FindSisterSites Supercomputer simulated the tournament 10,000 times and forecast that Thomas Tuchel's side will top Group L with seven points after a 1-1 draw with Croatia, a 3-0 win over Ghana, and a 2-0 victory against Panama.

In the Round of 32, England are predicted to beat Uzbekistan 3-0, followed by a narrow 2-1 win over Mexico in the Round of 16. The quarter-final against Brazil is expected to end 2-2 after extra time, with England winning 4-3 on penalties. A 1-0 semi-final victory over Argentina is then forecast, setting up a final clash with France.

According to the supercomputer, France will win the final 2-1 after extra time, dashing England's hopes of ending their 60-year wait for a major trophy.
