Novak Djokovic is back on Centre Court today, taking on Arthur Rinderknech in the third round of Wimbledon. The veteran is chasing a record-extending 25th Grand Slam title and his eighth Wimbledon crown.
Djokovic's Path to the Third Round
Djokovic began his campaign with a hard-fought 6-4 5-7 6-4 6-4 victory over China's Wu Yibing. He then showed his class in the second round, defeating former world No. 3 Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets, 6-3 6-4 6-2. The 39-year-old, currently ranked No. 8 in the world, has not won a major since the US Open in 2023.
Rinderknech's Form
The 25th seed Arthur Rinderknech is an experienced campaigner. He dispatched British wildcard Oliver Tarvet in the first round and followed up with a convincing straight-sets win over Martin Damm Jr. Djokovic will need to be at his best to overcome the Frenchman.
Match Start Time
Djokovic and Rinderknech are first up on Centre Court, with play scheduled to begin at 1:30pm BST. They will be followed by women's world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, who faces former French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko. Third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime is third on, taking on American qualifier Michael Zheng, who defeated Cameron Norrie.
