Boris Becker has become a father for the fifth time, with his wife Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro giving birth to a daughter on Friday 21 November, the day before the former tennis star turned 58.
The German tennis legend announced the news on Instagram, posting a black-and-white photograph of himself and his 35-year-old wife holding the newborn's hand. The caption read: 'Welcome to the world… Zoë Vittoria Becker. 21.11.2025.'
Becker, who married Lilian in a lavish ceremony in Portofino, Italy, last September, has four other children from previous relationships. These include sons Noah Gabriel (born 1994) and Elias Balthasar (born 1999) with ex-wife Barbara Feltus, a daughter with Russian model Angela Ermakova, and son Amadeus with second wife Lilly Kerssenberg.
The couple announced they were expecting their first child together in June. In an interview with The Sunday Times in September, Becker spoke warmly of their relationship, which began after they met through friends in 2018. He described an 'instant intellectual connection' despite their 20-year age gap, adding that Lilian had stood by him during his imprisonment for hiding assets after being declared bankrupt.
Becker served eight months of a two-and-a-half-year sentence before being released in December 2022 and deported to Germany. He previously coached Novak Djokovic from 2013 to 2016.
