Mohamed Salah's agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has revealed that the Egyptian forward's next club could be confirmed 'very soon', despite his future remaining uncertain. Salah left Liverpool at the end of last season, a year before his contract was due to expire, and has been a free agent since July 1.

Taking to X, Abbas Issa wrote: "We still do not know where Mohamed will play next season but we may know very soon [smiling face emoji]." The 34-year-old has been without a club since leaving Anfield and has helped Egypt reach the World Cup last 16 in the meantime.
Before the World Cup, Salah hinted that his next move would become clear after the tournament. Speaking last month, he said: "I am still assessing things. I have time now. I am going to the World Cup and then everything will become clear."
Potential Destinations: Saudi Arabia, MLS, and Besiktas
Salah has been linked with several clubs since his Liverpool departure. Saudi Arabia remains a possible destination, while a move to Major League Soccer has also been mooted. Sporting Kansas City have emerged as frontrunners, but the club's president of soccer operations, David Lee, remained tight-lipped. Lee said: "I'm not going to share anything on individual players, whether those players are under contract or not. I'm not going to get into the habit of talking about individual players."
Lee added: "We are interested in really good players. So anyone we think can be a fit for us and is going to fit what we would like to do, we have an interest in and would like to have a conversation with."
Turkish side Besiktas have also been linked with Salah, with reports in Turkey claiming they have already submitted an offer. This comes shortly after Besiktas signed former Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard for around £15 million.
Liverpool's Summer Business Without Salah
Liverpool have been active in the transfer window, securing deals for Jeremy Jacquet and Victor Munoz, but have yet to directly replace Salah. Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola has been linked with the Reds, but the reigning European champions are reportedly demanding around £128 million for the Frenchman should they sell this summer.
