Oscar Piastri Extends Grill'd Partnership with New Chicken Burger Launch
Piastri Launches New Grill'd Burger Ahead of F1 Season

Australian Formula One sensation Oscar Piastri has confirmed the continuation of his successful collaboration with the popular fast-food chain Grill'd. The partnership has yielded the launch of the new Oscar Piastri Chicken Burger, which became available in stores across Australia from February 10th. This follows the notable success of last year's Oscar Piastri Wagyu Burger, demonstrating the strong appeal of the driver's branded offerings.

A Gourmet Creation for Motorsport Fans

The latest culinary creation is a meticulously crafted chicken burger featuring RSPCA-approved chicken breast, complemented by crispy bacon and aged cheddar cheese. The burger is further enhanced with a fresh combination of shredded carrot, lettuce, creamy avocado, Spanish onion, a special chipotle mayonnaise, and a unique Davidson plum barbecue sauce. All these ingredients are served within a distinctive charcoal bun, with the burger retailing at $18.90.

For those seeking a complete meal, it is also offered as part of a $27.90 meal pack that includes a side of chips and a refreshing Lipton Peach Iced Tea. The collaboration extends beyond the restaurant, with Grill'd introducing a limited-time Oscar Piastri Wagyu Burger 2-pack available at Coles supermarkets for $12.

Shared Values and Fan Engagement

Grill'd founder Simon Crowe expressed immense pride in extending the partnership, stating, 'We are incredibly proud to be extending our partnership with Oscar for another year. He represents everything we believe in: precision, commitment and performing at the highest level.' Piastri, equally enthusiastic, remarked, 'I loved seeing how fans got around the first burger, so it's been really fun teaming up with Grill'd again to create something new.'

Focus on the 2026 F1 Championship

This announcement coincides with Piastri's preparations for the upcoming Formula One season. The Melbourne-born driver, who impressively finished third in the 2025 World Drivers' Championship, is set to compete in his fourth season at the pinnacle of motorsport, once again driving for McLaren alongside teammate Lando Norris. The duo aims to secure a third consecutive World Constructors' Championship for the team.

Piastri led the championship for much of the previous season but was ultimately overtaken by Max Verstappen and eventual champion Lando Norris in the final stages. As the 2026 season approaches, Piastri, Norris, Verstappen, and Mercedes' George Russell are emerging as the primary contenders for the drivers' title. A championship victory for Piastri would make him the first Australian to win the F1 title since Alan Jones in 1980, cementing his status as one of Australia's greatest motorsport athletes.

The 2026 F1 season is scheduled to commence on March 8th, with the Australian Grand Prix at Melbourne's Albert Park Circuit serving as the opening race, providing a fitting backdrop for Piastri's latest off-track venture.
