Chepstow hosts an eight-race Flat meeting on Monday when Newsboy’s nap, Punchbowl Flyer, is fancied to win the 4.33 race. The nine-year-old trained by John O’Shea was beaten by a half length by Too Much Trevor last time out but is weighted to reverse the form over course and distance. Alexandra Egan will again be in the saddle.
Punchbowl Flyer (4.33, Nap)
Punchbowl Flyer is fancied to get his revenge in the Engstaff-In Birthday Handicap at Chepstow on Monday. The son of Dream Ahead has a good chance to turn the tables on Too Much Trevor.
Roaring Ralph (3.07, NB)
At Wetherby, Roaring Ralph can continue his good form by landing the Amsteal Apprentice Handicap. The Michael Dons-trained six-year-old has not been out of the first two in his last six races, including four victories. He won a handicap over 7f off a 3lb lower mark at Ayr by one length, beating Novak, and should go even better back up in trip to a mile.
