Mick Schumacher, son of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher, has been spotted getting close to Portuguese model Clara Ramos on the Spanish island of Majorca. The 26-year-old racing driver was seen enjoying the winter sun with Ramos on a public golf course in Camp de Mar, not far from his family's villa.
The outing came over the weekend of his father's 57th birthday. Mick's sister, Gina-Maria, posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, sharing a photo of her father with Mick and their mother, Corinna. The post, which Mick liked, received nearly 200,000 likes.
Ramos, a model studying for a PhD at the University of Barcelona, has 113,000 followers on Instagram. Mick, who has over three million followers, follows only 600 people – including Ramos. Their meeting comes six months after his split from ex-girlfriend Laila Hasanovic, who is now dating tennis star Jannik Sinner.
Schumacher is set to join the IndyCar series with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, a team partly owned by David Letterman. However, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has warned of the dangers, citing average speeds of 340 km/h and the risk of serious accidents.
The former Haas F1 driver will travel to America in March to begin his IndyCar campaign.
