Day three of Glorious Goodwood sees the Qatar Nassau Stakes, where tipster Jason Heavey fancies Friendly Soul to upset the hot favourite Diamond Necklace. Heavey, who had five winners on Tuesday, offers his race-by-race verdict for all seven races.
1.50 Coral Kincsem Handicap
Ciarrai Abu is improving and taken to swoop fast and late. Harry Eustace has placed him well to win twice this season. At Ascot last time he did well to win despite swerving left near the finish. The extra two furlongs should bring more improvement. Unxeposed three-year-olds include Ffos Las maiden winner Dark Whisper and Jack Channon's Decade Of Time. Harmonics is another leading fancy for the Gosdens after a good run at the royal meeting. Bottom weight Lean d'Aislingean is interesting. Savvy Disko has made all the right moves in winning both his starts and at 10-1 will carry each-way cash.

2.25 Markel Richmond Stakes
Night In Vegas can hit the jackpot in this Group Two contest. Eve Johnson Houghton's son of Lucky Vega won his first two starts. After a smooth success at Ascot he followed up at this track before running a blinder to be fifth in the Coventry Stakes. He got too far back and was bumped in the final furlong so the run can be marked up. Night In Vegas can turn the tables on Cut A Dash who was just ahead after a trouble-free run. Flann Sunna is unbeaten and impressive, especially at Ascot when he showed a lethal turn of foot. Not many of Aidan O'Brien's are as big as 8-1, and Man's Best Friend is worth an each-way look. A better place play could be Hickory Lad (16-1), who is very tough and talented.

3.00 Maison Perrier Gordon Stakes
Enceladus is fancied to notch a Royal Ascot-Glorious Goodwood double in this traditional St Leger trial. Joseph O'Brien's colt was thorough professional in winning the King George V Handicap last month on just his fourth start. It was a smooth success from Al Azd, who franked the form with an easy win last week. The son of Sea The Stars can make the transition from handicap to Group Three. Geryon looks his main rival. The strapping Ger Lyons colt was an imposing winner of the Meld Stakes at Leopardstown. Derby fourth Bay of Brilliance is on a retrieval mission after finishing tailed off in the German Derby. Venetian Lace has been disappointing, while Shaihaan was fifth in the Irish Derby despite running keenly. Magnetude has it to do on ratings but under Oisin Murphy could outrun his 20-1 odds.

3.35 Qatar Nassau Stakes
Friendly Soul is one of the unluckiest horses in training but can upset the hot favourite. John and Thady Gosden's mare was lucky to escape injury when she almost fell at Haydock. At Royal Ascot she had a nightmare trip in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes before running on to be third. She is a Group One winner. Diamond Necklace is unbeaten in five starts, winning the French 1,000 Guineas and French Oaks this season. She tends to idle when hitting the front, so Ryan Moore will not want to get there too soon. William Buick on Friendly Soul may try to pounce late. See The Fire is very good on her day and will keep the big two competitive. Botagoz is the dark horse: Roger Varian's filly did well to reel in Diamond Rain at Newcastle, and although she needs to improve, she may have the scope.

4.10 Buccellati Handicap
One And Gone is a sporting punt. Ian Williams has placed this speedball to win at this track and at Sandown. He was a smooth winner at Goodwood and showed tenacity to score in Esher after jockey Ryan Kavanagh dropped his whip. A 14-1 shot at the time of writing, he is only 3lb higher. He should get a nice tow from the rapid Shes Got a Brother drawn near him. The latter should enjoy the track, along with Naana's Shadow who is enjoying a tremendous season. Saffie Osborne is on fire and Coyy (20-1) has a progressive profile. Quantum Power is in rare form winning his last three races and at 12-1 holds strong place appeal.

4.45 Whispering Angel Nursery Handicap
It all adds up for The Bookkeeper. Richard Hughes' two-year-old has done a lot right in three runs and may have got in off a decent handicap mark. He broke his duck at Haydock over 7f before running fourth in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom. Ryan Moore is a notable booking and from stall two should secure the perfect position. The Saffie Osborne-ridden filly Wise And Wonderful is nicely weighted, while The Ginger Kid is another contender. Oisin Murphy rides Mia Fantasia who has done little wrong in two runs.

5.20 Tatler British EBF Maiden Fillies Stakes
So Lovely will take all the beating. She has a wonderful pedigree as the daughter of Group One-winning filly Love, who won the Oaks and 1,000 Guineas in 2020. So Lovely produced a promising debut when second at Leopardstown over a mile. Clarity showed ability on debut at Kempton, while Elevating flew home on her York debut to be runner-up. The betting will guide to newcomers La Torre, Beguiled and Siena Storm, while Marcus Tregoning often runs a nice filly in this race, so Orchard Hatches is worth a market check.

5.55 HKJC World Pool Handicap
Zennor Storm gets the vote to blow away his 19 rivals. William Haggas' beast has a good profile and could be well treated. Unbeaten as a juvenile, he was disappointing on his first two runs this campaign before staying on to be fourth at York. At 12-1 he will do. Go Rimbaud has been punted and looks well handicapped if he can replicate all-weather form on fast turf. Law Court, Electric Dreams and Runswick are upwardly mobile three-year-olds. Exclusive Code posted a fine effort from a bad draw at Royal Ascot in the Britannia Handicap. Storm Point is a nice horse who could outrun his 33-1 price.
