Ex-Stripper Bikini Model Became Real-Life Fast and Furious Drag Race Queen
Ex-Stripper Bikini Model Drag Race Queen

Jessica Barton, a 42-year-old former stripper and bikini model from Orlando, Florida, built a reputation in America's Fast & Furious-era car scene by winning bikini contests and then beating men on the drag strip in her 1,000-horsepower Toyota Supra. With over 500,000 Instagram followers, she often faced underestimation from competitors who saw her as just a blonde model—until the racing began.

From Bikini Stage to Drag Strip

Barton described attending massive car meets in Texas where she would participate in every event. "I'd place in the bikini contest, win the dyno competition and then go drag racing," she said. "It was hilarious because I'd go straight from standing on stage in a bikini to getting in the car and banging gears with the boys." She added that proving people wrong was her favorite part: "The boys would laugh at first, but they stopped laughing once the racing started."

An Unexpected Passion

Barton's love for cars surprised even her family. Growing up a goth teenager obsessed with Marilyn Manson, she initially had no interest in automobiles while her brother was the family's petrolhead. Everything changed when she bought a Toyota Supra around the time The Fast and the Furious became a global phenomenon. "I decided I wanted a cool car and bought a Supra. It happened right when Fast and Furious was becoming huge and all of a sudden I was completely obsessed," she recalled. The more she modified it, the more addicted she became, eventually pushing the car to around 1,000 horsepower.

The Car Scene Atmosphere

As Barton delved deeper into the car scene, she traveled nationwide for events, competitions, and races. "Those events were insane. You'd have thousands of people there, incredible cars everywhere and everyone partying together," she said. "It genuinely felt like living inside The Fast and the Furious. I got to meet so many amazing people and travel all over the country. It was one of the most fun periods of my entire life."

Devastating Theft and Comeback

Barton's dream car journey hit a low point when her beloved Supra was stolen. After tracking it down, she discovered it had been chopped into pieces. "My heart absolutely sank. The thing I'd spent years building had basically been dismantled," she said. The thieves were eventually arrested, but instead of quitting, Barton built another Supra—one that was even more extreme. "I ended up building another Supra and honestly, it was faster, crazier and better than the first one. Looking back now, I think the comeback was even more satisfying."

Legacy and Reflection

Although Barton has since pursued other ventures, she cherishes her time in the car scene. "I won trophies, travelled the country, met incredible people and beat a lot of boys on the drag strip. I got to live out a real-life Fast and Furious fantasy. When I look back on it now, I just think, what more could a girl want?" she concluded.
