Manchester United have been handed a fresh injury blow with Patrick Dorgu withdrawing from the Denmark squad. United are currently in the middle of the extended international break, and still face a lengthy wait before returning to Premier League action.
Dorgu was included on Denmark's starting line-up for their Nations League clash against Wales on Sunday night, but was substituted just half an hour into the game.
The United wing back could be seen holding his left thigh while he remained on the ground until he received treatment, and went on to be substituted by manager Brian Riemer.
Expected to return to United
The substitution has sparked concerns that Dorgu has suffered an injury, and the United defender is now expected to leave the Denmark squad as a result.
Riemer has stated that a replacement for Dorgu must now be found, with Danish media outlet TV2 reporting that the 21-year-old is now expected to return to United for further assessment and will not feature in any of Denmark's remaining two matches during the international break.

"I've never experienced anything like it. I'd like to be allowed to say that. And now another one went today - also a good one," Riemer said.
"I counted up, and that was seven or eight players before today who would normally always be in a squad of 23. They're not here. They've either gone home or never came at all.
"And now Dorgu went out today. And it's just really annoying to be honest."
Riemer added: "I have to call up one more winger. It's easy to find a player who can be a winger, a full-back or something else, but it's even harder to find someone who can cover more positions.
"So it's going to be a bit of a headache for me. I have to figure out whether we should call up one or two."
United's injury concerns mount
United now face a nervous wait to discover the full extent of the injury picked up by Dorgu and whether or not he will be on the sidelines for any length of time.
The Reds return to Premier League action on October 10 when they host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford in the Premier League, with several injury concerns starting to mount up.
Bruno Fernandes handed United an injury scare over the weekend after missing Portugal's 2-1 win over Norway in the Nations League. Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo both withdrew from the England squad last week, while Benjamin Sesko was also withdrawn from the Slovenia squad, as was Karl Darlow for Wales.
