Neco Williams doubt for Palace vs Forest clash

Nottingham Forest defender Neco Williams is a doubt for Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace after missing Friday's training session with a fever.

Williams has played every minute of the league season so far for Oliver Glasner's side, who sit 13th with five points from their first five games.

Glasner confirms Williams illness

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Glasner said: 'He [Williams] returned well (from international duty), and was good.

'He trained with us yesterday, but didn't feel well, and he got a fever in the night, so he was not available today. Let's see how he recovers after tomorrow.'

Milenkovic and Jesus ruled out

Elsewhere, Glasner confirmed Nikola Milenkovic and Igor Jesus will definitely miss Sunday's trip to Selhurst Park to face his former side.

'We have two injured players who were here and not away on international duty,' he added. 'Nikola Milenkovic, he returned from an injury and played in the friendly, which was all good, but he injured his knee in a duel and he has a bruised bone.

'He will miss the game; it's very painful, so he can't train.

'The other is Igor Jesus. He has a muscle injury in his calf and he will be out for a few weeks. That's not what we wanted.

'It's been an intense period for the international players, but this is the same for every Premier League team. You just have to deal with it.'

Palace team news

Palace, meanwhile, are still expected to be without Dean Henderson, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Takehiro Tomiyasu at the weekend, while Axel Disasi continues to serve a three-game ban.

Anan Khalaili is available after an injury scare over the international break, while Ismaila Sarr could make his first start of the season after overcoming his groin injury.
