A 22-year-old British holidaymaker is in a serious condition in hospital after falling from a second-floor balcony at the BH Mallorca Hotel in Magaluf. The incident occurred at around 3am, leaving the man with a broken leg, broken jaw, and several lost teeth.
He was rushed to Son Espases Hospital in Palma de Mallorca, where he remains in a serious condition. Two ambulances and local police attended the scene. The Civil Guard has launched a routine investigation, which will be overseen by a local court.
This incident follows a series of recent tragedies involving British tourists in Magaluf. Last month, four Britons were accused of starting a massive fire at the same hotel, causing over £170,000 in damage. On Sunday, Welshman Tom Hughes, 20, died after falling from a nearby apartment block he mistook for his hotel. In April, Scottish bar worker Natalie Cormack died at the same Eden Roc apartment block after trying to edge along an overhang when she realised she had no keys.
