The Phoenix Mercury erased a 20-point deficit to defeat the Minnesota Lynx 89-83 in overtime on Tuesday, tying their WNBA semi-final series at 1-1. Satou Sabally scored 11 of her 24 points in the fourth quarter, while Alyssa Thomas contributed 19 points and 13 assists.
Sami Whitcomb's three-pointer with four seconds left in regulation tied the game at 79-79 after Thomas kept the possession alive. In the other semi-final, A'ja Wilson bounced back with 25 points and nine rebounds as Las Vegas defeated Indiana 90-68 to even their series. Wilson made 10 of 18 shots and had a playoff career-high five steals. NaLyssa Smith added 18 points, Jackie Young scored 13, and Chelsea Gray had 10 assists.
Odyssey Sims led the Fever with 18 points, Lexie Hull scored 15 despite a back injury, Kelsey Mitchell had 13, and Aliyah Boston 10.
