
A quiet afternoon at Bedworth United Football Club's car park turned to tragedy on Thursday when two local men were killed in a freak accident involving a large glass panel.
Emergency services, including multiple ambulance crews, paramedic officers, and Warwickshire Police, rushed to the scene on Miners Welfare Park following desperate calls for help just after 3:15 PM.
Despite the rapid response and efforts of medical teams, both men were pronounced dead at the scene, having suffered catastrophic injuries when the heavy panel fell upon them.

The tight-knit community of Bedworth has been left reeling by the sudden loss. Bedworth United FC, a pillar of the local area, expressed profound shock and devastation at the incident occurring on their premises.
