Transfer Deadline Day: Palace Sign Strand Larsen, Mateta Stays; Arsenal, Liverpool, Wolves Active

Crystal Palace completed a club-record signing of Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolves on transfer deadline day, but failed to sell Jean-Philippe Mateta to AC Milan, leaving the French striker in south London. The Eagles were among the busiest clubs on Monday, with several deals across the Premier League and Football League.

Wolves themselves were active, signing Angel Gomes and Adam Armstrong, while Arsenal secured teenage forward Evan Mooney from St Mirren. Liverpool confirmed the £55m signing of Jérémy Jacquet from Rennes, though the defender will join in the summer for the 2026-27 season.

Elsewhere, Chelsea's Axel Disasi moved to West Ham on loan, and Everton loaned Tyrique George from Chelsea. Nottingham Forest signed Luca Netz, and Sunderland added Nilson Angulo. In Scotland, Rangers are expected to announce Ryan Naderi from Hansa Rostock, while Celtic are working on a loan deal for Joel Mvuka.
