Tottenham Hotspur are considering a change in the dugout after fans directed 'You're getting sacked in the morning' chants at manager Thomas Frank following a 2-1 home defeat to West Ham United. The Dane has overseen a winless start to the 2026 campaign, with five matches without victory leaving the club 14th in the Premier League table.
Frank insisted he understands the supporters' frustration but remains confident he can turn things around. 'If we're winning it will change (the reaction), and we will,' he said. 'I still think we are closer (to turning around results) than further away.' The late winner from Callum Wilson, bundled home from a corner after Cristian Romero had equalised, extended Spurs' miserable run.
Club captain Romero described the defeat as a 'disaster' and called for unity. 'In this moment we need to stay together, work hard, and come back tomorrow to the training ground,' he said. 'Thank you to the fans for always staying with us. Tomorrow we will train in silence, work hard again.'
Frank added that he sees a team 'running in tough times' and committed to the cause, despite the perfect storm of late setbacks. The board are now weighing up whether to stick with the former Brentford boss or seek a new direction before the next league fixture.
