Manchester rapper-turned-boxer Jordan McCann returns to the ring this weekend for another Misfits Boxing crossover event. He faces social media star Mo Deen on Saturday, October 10, on the undercard of Joey Essex vs Dapper Laughs, with the whole event streamed live.
This marks McCann's second fight night in less than a month, following his headline bout against Big Stacks on September 12. He suffered a defeat by a second-round TKO in that Misfits event, so he will aim to come out on top in Saturday's heavyweight clash.
Fight details and venue
McCann will face Deen – real name Mohammad Kubba – at London's Copper Box Arena, a 7,500-capacity venue opened for the London 2012 Olympic Games. McCann attended a pre-fight press conference in London on Thursday, October 9, where he reflected on his previous fight.
Speaking to Gunman Boxing, he said: “Any loss can hurt. I’ve took major losses in my life [but] no boxing match is going to compare to the things I’ve already conquered.”
McCann was also asked what he thinks about his next opponent, as he said: “Mo Deen’s a beast. I’m just going to come in there and straight hook his head off, right hook.”
When is Jordan McCann vs Mo Deen?
Jordan McCann vs Mo Deen will be held on Saturday, October 10. Exact timings for the undercard have not been confirmed, but coverage will begin at 6.30pm, with the main event ringwalks expected around 9.20pm.
How to watch Jordan McCann vs Mo Deen
Jordan McCann vs Mo Deen will be broadcast live on DAZN as part of the Joey Essex vs Dapper Laughs fight card. The whole event is available to stream as part of a DAZN subscription, which is currently more than 60% off.
DAZN's Flex – Pay Monthly plan is reduced to £9.99 (was £25.99) until October 12, saving 62% from the normal price and providing full DAZN coverage of boxing, bare knuckle boxing, MMA and kickboxing. Other subscriptions include the £15.99 Annual – Pay Monthly and £119.99 Annual – Pay Upfront subscriptions, both of which include more than 185 fight nights per year from major promoters such as Misfits, Queensbury and Matchroom.
There's also DAZN Ultimate, which delivers the same perks as well as at least 12 pay-per-view events every year, including Dubois vs Wardley 2 (October 17) and Canelo vs M'billi (October 31). DAZN Ultimate subscribers can watch both these fights at no extra cost as part of their membership.
This package comes in at £24.99 per month or £249.99 if paid annually, but it's worth noting a 12-month commitment is required. DAZN claims its Ultimate customer can save £320 per year compared to the price of DAZN Monthly Flex and 12 individual pay-per-view events.
