Shane Warne’s Son Jackson Discovers Massive Golf Club Collection in Storage Unit

Jackson Warne, son of late Australian cricket legend Shane Warne, has revealed an unexpected find while sorting through his father’s storage units: a vast collection of golf clubs. Speaking to Channel 7, Jackson estimated that the collection includes around 300 drivers, 400 putters, and countless golf bags, describing it as “an abundance of stuff.”

Shane Warne, who died of a heart attack in 2022 at age 52, was a keen golfer alongside his cricketing career. Jackson, along with his sisters Brooke and Summer, has been going through the units, which he said were filled with items the leg spinner had accumulated over the years.

The discovery was shared during a promotion for the Shane Warne Legacy initiative, which provides heart tests at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Twenty-three machines have been set up in honour of Warne’s playing number, and fans can access the tests without a match ticket. Jackson noted that his father would be “so honoured” that his legacy is now saving lives.

Shane Warne retired as the record Test wicket-taker with 708 dismissals, a mark later surpassed by Muttiah Muralitharan. He was a multiple Ashes winner and 1999 World Cup champion, receiving a state funeral after his death in Thailand.

In a separate tribute on what would have been his father’s 54th birthday, Jackson shared a video celebrating their shared activities, including visits to McDonald’s, watching the TV show Two and a Half Men, and playing roulette.
