Love Is Blind UK returns to Netflix for its third season on August 19, and among the new cast is 31-year-old Lydia from Cardiff, a senior product manager who hopes the pods will help her find lasting love.
Lydia's quest for love
Lydia, who has been single for a year after splitting from her rugby player ex-boyfriend, says she has exhausted her dating options in South Wales and hopes the show will broaden her horizons. Her Netflix bio describes her as "honest, relatable and a self-confessed late bloomer," and she is eager to replicate the "#couplegoals love" her parents share in their marriage.

The new season will launch with eight episodes at 8am on August 19, followed by episodes nine and ten on August 26, and the reunion on August 30. Emma and Matt Willis return as hosts, guiding the newly engaged couples as they leave the pods to face real-world challenges, including moving in together, meeting loved ones, and navigating trust issues.
Netflix teases: "With a life-changing decision to make, the stakes could not be higher for our couples. And as the experiment reaches its moment of truth, the question remains: is love really blind?"
