Bukayo Saka Returns to Training Ahead of Inter Milan Clash After Injury Concern

Bukayo Saka took part in Arsenal's first-team training on Monday, allaying fears he might miss Tuesday's Champions League clash with Inter Milan. The winger had been flagged as a doubt after Mikel Arteta revealed he was carrying a minor niggle before the weekend's draw with Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal travel to the San Siro unbeaten in the league phase, having won all six matches. Inter, by contrast, have lost their last two European fixtures, including a late defeat to Liverpool in December, and sit sixth in the standings, six points behind the Gunners.

Saka, 24, started all three previous Champions League games this season, captaining the side in victories over Bayern Munich, Slavia Praha and Atletico Madrid. He came off the bench in the 3-0 win at Club Brugge and almost scored with a looping header against Forest on Sunday.

Arteta had expressed caution about Saka's minutes but praised his squad's depth, noting that the ability to make multiple changes without dropping levels has strengthened Arsenal's European campaign. The club reached the semi-finals last season before being eliminated by eventual champions Paris Saint-Germain.
