Aryna Sabalenka has announced her engagement to Georgios Frangulis in an emotional social media post. The 27-year-old Belarusian tennis star shared a video on Instagram showing the proposal, surrounded by flowers and candles, with the caption: “You & me, forever.” The post has already garnered nearly one million likes.
Frangulis, 37, is a Brazilian businessman of Greek heritage and founder of the global superfood brand Oakberry. The couple began dating in 2024 after meeting at a business event, and he has been a regular presence in her player box at tournaments. Frangulis is also an amateur motorsport driver and has previously spoken about overcoming thyroid cancer.
Sabalenka’s engagement comes just under two years after the tragic death of her former partner, Konstantin Koltsov, a former Belarusian hockey player who died in Miami in March 2024 at age 42. Frangulis reportedly supported Sabalenka following Koltsov’s death, with their friendship developing into a relationship.
The three-time Grand Slam champion has previously been engaged but did not marry. Now, with a new chapter ahead, she will balance wedding plans with her busy tennis schedule.
