Raphinha scored a hat-trick as Barcelona thrashed Sevilla 5-2 to restore their four-point lead at the top of La Liga. Dani Olmo and João Cancelo also struck for Hansi Flick’s side, who host Newcastle in the Champions League on Wednesday. The win came after Real Madrid had cut the gap by beating Elche on Saturday.
Barcelona were awarded two first-half penalties, both converted by Raphinha. Olmo added a third before Sevilla pulled one back through Oso. Raphinha completed his hat-trick early in the second half with a deflected shot, and Cancelo added a fifth. Djibril Sow scored a late consolation for Sevilla.
In Serie A, Lazio beat Milan 1-0 thanks to Gustav Isaksen’s first-half strike. The defeat leaves Milan eight points adrift of leaders Inter, who drew 1-1 with Atalanta on Saturday. Lazio are ninth.
Como beat 10-man Roma 2-1 to move fourth in Serie A, a point above Juventus. Trailing to Donyell Malen’s early penalty, Como fought back with goals from Tasos Douvikas and Diego Carlos. Roma’s Wesley was sent off in the second half.
