Atlético Madrid moved third on 31 points after a 2-0 win over Real Oviedo, with Alexander Sørloth scoring twice in the first half. In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich needed stoppage-time goals from Luis Díaz and Nicolas Jackson to beat St Pauli 3-1. The leaders fell behind in the sixth minute to Andréas Hountondji's strike, but Raphaël Guerreiro equalised just before half-time. Díaz headed in early in added time and Jackson added a third to maintain Bayern's 44-match streak at the top of the table.
Borussia Dortmund won 2-1 at Bayer Leverkusen to move third in the Bundesliga. Aaron Anselmino and Karim Adeyemi scored either side of half-time, with Christian Kofane pulling one back for Leverkusen. Dortmund held on despite late pressure, with coach Niko Kovac praising the team's performance.
In Serie A, Rafael Leão's second-half goal gave Milan a 1-0 win over Lazio, putting them top on 28 points. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan made a crucial early save to keep the scores level before Leão struck.
