Nottingham Forest face Malmo in Europa League group stage

Nottingham Forest have been drawn against Malmo in the Europa League group stage, a repeat of the 1979 European Cup final which Forest won 1-0 thanks to a Trevor Francis header. The fixture will take place at the City Ground.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side will also host Porto, Ferencvaros and Midtjylland, while travelling to Real Betis, Braga, Sturm Graz and Utrecht. The draw was confirmed at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Friday.

Aston Villa will face Bologna at Villa Park, alongside Salzburg, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Young Boys at home, with away trips to Feyenoord, Fenerbahce, Basel and Go Ahead Eagles. Rangers, who dropped into the Europa League after a 9-1 aggregate loss to Club Brugge, host Roma, Braga, Ludogorets and Genk, and travel to Porto, Ferencvaros, Sturm Graz and Brann.

Celtic, who missed Champions League qualification after a penalty shootout defeat to Kairat, welcome Roma, Braga, Sturm Graz and Utrecht to Celtic Park, with away ties against Feyenoord, Red Star Belgrade, Midtjylland and Bologna.

In the Conference League, Crystal Palace host AZ Alkmaar, Kups Kuopio and Larnaca, and travel to Dynamo Kyiv, Strasbourg and Shelbourne. Aberdeen, following a 5-2 aggregate loss to Steaua Bucharest, host Shakhtar Donetsk, Strasbourg and FC Noah, with away matches against Sparta Prague, AEK Athens and Larnaca.
