Man United vs Bournemouth still on despite Storm Boelo warnings
Man United vs Bournemouth on despite Storm Boelo

Manchester United's Premier League match against Bournemouth at Old Trafford is still set to go ahead at 2pm today, despite Storm Boelo bringing flood warnings and widespread disruption to Greater Manchester.

Storm Boelo continues to sweep across the nation, with numerous flood warnings issued. Greater Manchester has been impacted heavily, with power cuts reported in certain areas, trains cancelled and a number of motorway crashes.

No Cancellation Communication

With many parts of Greater Manchester affected by the storm, there have been concerns that United's game could be postponed. However, no communication has been issued to say the match has been cancelled, and it remains scheduled to kick off at 2pm.

Should the game go ahead, Michael Carrick almost certainly needs a win to keep hold of his job. The United boss was given a stay of execution after the dire defeat to Como in midweek.

Pressure on Carrick

With United not in action until next Saturday, having been knocked out of the Carabao Cup at the first hurdle, it is expected that a change will be made if United lose this afternoon.
