Liverpool are preparing a significant opening bid for Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola, with personal terms reportedly agreed on a six-year contract. The France international has emerged as a top transfer target at Anfield this summer, with Arsenal also strongly linked.
Replacing Mohamed Salah
The Reds are retooling their attack under new head coach Andoni Iraola and seeking a successor to club icon Mohamed Salah, who left as a free agent last month after nine years. Liverpool have already signed Spain winger Victor Munoz from Osasuna for £34.5m and completed the £60m transfer of centre-back Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes, agreed in January.

Reports on Sunday indicated that PSG now value Barcola at £145m, noting recent fees for Morgan Rogers (£117m) and Elliot Anderson (£116m). Transfer specialist Nicolo Schira claimed Liverpool are preparing an opening bid over €100m (£85m) and have agreed personal terms on a six-year deal until 2032. Sky Germany also reported that Liverpool are weighing a first offer, with personal terms not expected to be an issue and more talks scheduled for Monday. The player is reportedly open to leaving PSG, with two years left on his contract.
