Gabriel Jesus Commits to Arsenal Until 2027 Amid Sale Speculation

Gabriel Jesus has moved to quash rumours surrounding his Arsenal future, insisting he intends to see out his contract until 2027. Reports had suggested the Brazilian striker was among four players the club might consider selling in the January transfer window, but Jesus dismissed the notion.

Speaking to Globo Esporte, Jesus expressed gratitude to his boyhood club Palmeiras but made clear his immediate commitment to Arsenal. “I’m under contract until 2027 and my wish is to stay here,” he said. “If for any reason both parties understand we can’t extend beyond that, at least until 2027, I’ll be here.”

The 27-year-old is currently recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained in last season’s FA Cup third round. Despite the setback, he revealed that his mental state remains positive, helped by time with his family. “My wife was pregnant with our second child, and I have a daughter,” he added. “That helped me not focus on the injury.”

Manager Mikel Arteta has been cautious about Jesus’s return date, stating earlier this month: “I don’t know. Now it’s about making steps day by day.” The Gunners are reportedly prepared to listen to offers for Jesus in January if a suitable bid arrives, though the player remains focused on his recovery and Arsenal duties.
