Gary Neville to Stay on Sky Sports Despite Controversial Rant

Sky Sports has decided not to take Gary Neville off air following his online rant about 'angry middle-aged white men', according to reports. The football pundit posted a controversial political video on social media over the weekend, sparking outrage among some viewers who threatened to cancel their subscriptions.

In the video, Neville discussed the recent synagogue attack in Manchester and criticised the 'Operation Raise the Colours' movement, which he said was creating division. He admitted to taking down a Union Jack flag from one of his development sites, saying the division was 'mainly created by angry, middle-aged white men'.

Despite the backlash, Sky Sports has reportedly decided not to punish Neville, even though his comments may have breached the broadcaster's guidelines. Sky's guidelines state that talent should not undertake activity that brings the programme or Sky into disrepute.

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan criticised Neville on talkSPORT, calling him a 'champagne socialist' and a 'coward'. Jordan suggested Neville should have focused on radical Islamist extremism rather than attacking middle-aged white men.

Neville, a known supporter of the Labour Party, has not commented on the decision. The broadcaster has not issued an official statement regarding the matter.
