Gisele Bundchen is reportedly upset over Tom Brady's behaviour during 'The Roast of Tom Brady' on Netflix, where the NFL legend defended New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft but remained silent when jokes targeted his ex-wife. The roast, which ran for three hours, featured relentless jibes at Brady, including swipes at Bundchen and her new partner, her jujitsu coach.
According to reports, Bundchen felt that Brady's actions reinforced a pattern of prioritising football over family, an issue believed to have contributed to their breakup in 2022. Brady laughed off jokes about his marriage, crypto losses and the 'Deflategate' scandal, but only confronted comedian Jeff Ross when a joke about the massage scandal involving Kraft crossed a line.
Brady stood up and warned Ross, 'Don't say that again,' marking the only moment he appeared genuinely annoyed during the event. The joke referenced Kraft's 2019 solicitation allegations, which were later dropped. Bundchen, however, was disappointed that Brady did not similarly defend her against the roasters' barbs.
The split between the couple ended a 13-year marriage, with reports suggesting Bundchen wanted Brady to retire and focus on family. Despite initially retiring, Brady returned to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022, leading to his first losing season and time away from his children, who moved with their mother.
