England are not expected to make many changes for Tuesday's Nations League match in Czechia, as Thomas Tuchel's side look to bounce back from a 3-2 home defeat to world champions Spain in their opening fixture on Saturday.
Tuchel set to stick with familiar XI
Tuchel is expected to largely keep with what he knows when England face the Czechs in Prague. The hosts lost 2-1 to Croatia in their own opening Nations League match.
There were no suggestions that any players suffered injuries during the Spain game, but Tuchel will provide a clearer indication of the fitness of his squad when he speaks from Prague in his pre-match press conference on Monday evening.
Clean bill of health and squad decisions
All 24 members of the squad trained at Tottenham Hotspur's training ground on Friday, so Tuchel had a clean bill of health when he named his team to face Spain. UEFA only permit a squad of 23 players for Nations League matches, and Liverpool teenager Rio Ngumoha was the player left out of the matchday squad against Spain.
James Trafford will start in goal again when England visit the Czechs, before Jordan Pickford returns for the final two matches of this international break. Tuchel must decide whether to stick with Jarell Quansah at right-back or reintegrate Real Madrid's Trent Alexander-Arnold in Prague.
Midfield options and attacking threats
Myles Lewis-Skelly partnered Elliot Anderson in midfield against Spain, but Tuchel has other options, including James Garner or handing a debut to Bournemouth's Alex Scott. Harry Kane will be keen to get back on the scoresheet after missing a penalty against Spain with a slip and a double-kick.
The performances of Jude Bellingham and Anthony Gordon will have impressed Tuchel, and the German may find it difficult to drop either to the bench. Chelsea's Cole Palmer and Arsenal's Declan Rice were joined by Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo and Tino Livramento in withdrawing from the squad last month due to a mixture of injury and load management.
