Scotland rounded off their World Cup preparations with a 4-1 victory over 10-man Curaçao at Hampden Park, with striker Lyndon Dykes justifying his place in the squad after a mixed performance.
Dykes, who spoke to the BBC after the match, said: "A good performance … we wanted to end on a high … we started a little bit ropey … but in the end it was a great result." He also revealed that he, Billy Gilmour and Ryan Christie plan to get World Cup-themed tattoos.
Scotland fell behind early but fought back after Curaçao's red card, with Lawrence Shankland among the scorers. Shankland said: "We wanted to go to America on the back of a win … it was important we got that."
Teenager Findlay Curtis, 19, scored his first international goal and said: "It's everything I dreamed of … obviously I'm delighted to get the spot for the World Cup."
Scotland head coach Steve Clarke admitted he was unhappy with the start but praised the win: "I've got to be honest, I wasn't happy with the start … but a win's a win and it's good for the crowd to see a few goals." He confirmed Billy Gilmour suffered an injury and will be assessed overnight.
Curaçao boss Dick Advocaat felt the red card changed the game: "The way we played the first half was really well … til the moment we started playing with ten, it was quite difficult."
