Coronation Street viewers believe they have uncovered how the mystery death victim dies next week, along with who might be responsible. A new theory about the soap's murder week could reveal both the cause of death and the potential killer.
Fans Spot Clue in Recent Scene
According to fans, a scene that aired this week may have given away what leads to the death. While the storyline has been described as a whodunnit with a mystery killer, a new theory suggests a twist. Viewers noticed a scene where Gary Windass was sorting some scaffolding on the street, and Theo Silverton was walking up to him. Given that evil Theo is spiralling after being caught out for abusing Todd Grimshaw, fans wondered if he is the cause of next week's death.
Potential Victims and Suspects
Theo is one of five potential victims, along with Carl Webster, Jodie Ramsey, Maggie Driscoll, and Megan Walsh. However, fans have also speculated that he could kill again, having previously left Billy Mayhew to die, especially as he is feuding with Carl.
Scaffolding Tampering Theory
The latest theory suggests that Theo could tamper with the scaffolding, either to set Gary up if something were to happen or to hurt him. This would be a nod to Theo's arrival on the show as a scaffolder, when his colleague almost dropped a metal pole on Julie Carp last year. After his menacing behaviour and goading Gary, fans are convinced Theo will cause an incident with the equipment to get back at Gary, whether he means to harm someone or not. They think that whoever dies will be struck by falling scaffolding, with Theo to blame.
Of course, it has been labelled a whodunnit, so perhaps someone else will be involved, leading the victim to fall into the scaffolding, causing it to kill them. Then again, this is soap, and the scaffolding could be a red herring.
