Champions League Last-16 Draw: Premier League Clubs Learn Potential Opponents

The draw for the Champions League last-16 takes place on Friday, with Premier League sides now aware of their possible opponents following the conclusion of the play-offs. Six English teams remain in the competition: Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Newcastle United.

Liverpool, the reigning Premier League champions, automatically qualified and could face either Atletico Madrid or Galatasaray. Arsenal, league leaders, have Bayer Leverkusen or Atalanta as potential opponents. Manchester City, also automatic qualifiers, are drawn against either Bodo/Glimt or Real Madrid.

Chelsea and Newcastle both secured their last-16 places automatically and via the play-offs respectively. The Blues could meet fellow Premier League side Newcastle or Ligue 1's Paris Saint-Germain, while Newcastle's options are Chelsea or Barcelona.
