In a night filled with emotion and spectacle, Inter Miami's Nu Stadium hosted its inaugural match, an entertaining 2-2 draw with Austin FC. The event marked a significant milestone for co-owner Sir David Beckham, who has pursued this dream for over a decade.
A Long-Awaited Homecoming

The breakthrough came with co-owners Jorge and Jose Mas, whose resources and local influence helped secure approval for the $1bn development at Melreese Country Club. Phase 1 is now complete, though the wider complex remains under construction.
The stadium opening, delayed to allow for final preparations, proceeded smoothly despite no test events. Supporters, many of whom had traveled long distances to previous games, relished the new venue's proximity and modern amenities.
