Anthony Joshua will face Daniel Dubois for the IBF world heavyweight title at Wembley Stadium, with the general ticket sale launching at midday on Friday 28th June via Ticketmaster. The bout was confirmed after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the IBF belt earlier this week, paving the way for the two British heavyweights to contest the title.
Joshua, a two-time world champion, enters the fight after a knockout victory over Francis Ngannou in March, while Dubois – who was upgraded from interim IBF champion to full champion following Usyk's decision – stopped Filip Hrgovic in his most recent outing. Dubois also holds a version of the WBA title.
Speaking at a press conference, Dubois said: 'I'm just aiming to be the best. To fight the best and beat the best. AJ has been the king for a long time, and we all know it, so on the night I need to become a king-slayer. That's my goal and that's the mission at hand. I'm just ready to go.'
Ticket prices for the fight have not yet been announced, though hospitality packages are available via Seat Unique starting at £299 per person, offering options from premium seating to ringside. The event is expected to sell out quickly, with Wembley having hosted historic bouts such as Muhammad Ali vs Henry Cooper and Joshua's own victory over Wladimir Klitschko.
