Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis Fight Cancelled After Lawsuit

Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions have confirmed that the Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis boxing match, originally scheduled for 14 November at Miami's Kaseya Center, has been cancelled. The event was to be streamed live on Netflix.

Most Valuable Promotions CEO Nakisa Bidarian stated that the company still plans for Paul to headline a Netflix event in 2025, with details of a new date, location and opponent to be announced. The cancellation follows a civil lawsuit filed against Davis by ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel, alleging battery, false imprisonment and other charges.

Davis's trainer Calvin Ford dismissed the lawsuit as 'nonsense', saying Davis is 'doing great'. Davis is on probation after pleading guilty to a 2020 hit-and-run. Fans who bought tickets via Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds within 14-21 days.
