Reform UK Senedd member Jason O'Connell has said his constituency office in Pontypridd was vandalised, with windows smashed. The Pontypridd Cynon Merthyr politician described the damage as "completely unacceptable".
Attack reported on social media
In a post on X, Mr O'Connell wrote: "Yesterday my constituency office in Pontypridd was attacked & windows smashed. This is completely unacceptable in a civilised democracy."
He added that the police and Senedd have been notified and that he would push for the full extent of the law to be applied once those responsible are caught.
Statement on intimidation
In a further statement, he said: "No elected representative, their staff, or members of the public should have to face intimidation or violence simply for participating in our democracy."

Other incidents involving Reform UK politicians
Earlier in the Senedd term, Ben McKenna, another Reform UK politician, said his Port Talbot office had been damaged by vandals. It is understood that their party colleague, Blaenau Gwent Caerffili Rhymni Catherine Cullen, has also had damage to her office since being elected in May.
Senedd members receive advice and safety measures as part of their roles. South Wales Police has been asked to comment.
