The first Old Firm derby of the 2026-27 Scottish Premiership season will take place at Celtic Park on Sunday, September 20, as league bosses have confirmed the fixture schedule.
Martin O'Neill vs Derek McInnes
Celtic manager Martin O'Neill will face a new rival in the dugout as Derek McInnes, formerly of Hearts, takes charge of Rangers for the first time in the derby. O'Neill went unbeaten in four meetings against predecessor Danny Rohl last season, as Celtic secured a league and Scottish Cup double.
McInnes led Hearts to the brink of the title last term, topping the table for most of the campaign before suffering a last-day defeat at Celtic Park, where two late goals clinched a fifth consecutive title for the Hoops.
