Andrew Tate has offered a controversial explanation for his boxing defeat to Chase DeMoor, suggesting that a higher power may have orchestrated the outcome. The former kickboxer lost on points in his boxing debut last weekend in Dubai, with two judges scoring in DeMoor's favour and the third calling it a draw.
In a statement, Tate claimed that forces larger than humans were at play. 'The only thing that makes sense is that I was not supposed to win,' he said. He speculated that God might have decided DeMoor needed the victory more, as he 'couldn't handle the loss,' while Tate could.
Tate also floated an unusual theory involving his brother, Tristan. 'Maybe if I won, we would have gone out and celebrated, and Tristan would have smoked a bunch of cigars and died one minute earlier. Maybe I get an extra minute with my brother because I lost,' he said.
Despite the defeat, Tate insisted that DeMoor deserved the win and urged fans not to diminish his opponent's achievement. 'Chase deserves this victory; he earned it,' Tate added.
The fight was Tate's first in professional boxing, though he holds an impressive kickboxing record and a 2-1 MMA record. British YouTuber KSI mocked the result on social media, sharing a photo of Jake Paul and Tate after their losses with the caption 'Christmas came early.'
