Adam Ramsay-Peaty has admitted that the only reason he is still competing is for the 2028 LA Olympic Games, after earning two bronze medals at this year's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The 31-year-old English swimmer secured his first bronze in Saturday's 100m breaststroke, his specialist event. He followed that with another third-place finish in the 50m breaststroke on Tuesday evening.
Ramsay-Peaty clocked 26.94 in the 50m final, finishing 0.44 seconds behind Australian winner Sam Williamson, who backed up his 100m performance to secure a double. South Africa's Michael Houlie took silver, with Ramsay-Peaty third by just 0.01 seconds.
Reflecting on his motivation, Ramsay-Peaty said: 'The only reason I'm here' is to aim for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
