King Charles' Coronation Draws Over 8,000 Ofcom Complaints

King Charles' Coronation has sparked over 8,000 complaints to Ofcom, with 137 new complaints added following the event. The majority of complaints relate to comments made by actress Adjoa Andoh during ITV's coverage.

Andoh, known for her role in Bridgerton, described the Buckingham Palace balcony as 'terribly white' while discussing the royal family's appearance. She later stated she did not intend to cause offence.

Other complaints centred on the non-stop coverage of the Coronation across major channels, as well as the appearance of Prince Andrew at the historic event. The BBC, ITV, and other broadcasters dedicated extensive airtime to the weekend's proceedings.
