Teen Dies, Three Injured in Eastbourne Crash

A 17-year-old boy has died and three others were seriously injured in a two-car crash near Eastbourne, Sussex Police have confirmed. The collision occurred at approximately 9.30pm on Friday, June 26, near Shooters Bottom car park, close to Beachy Head.

Details of the Collision

The incident involved a blue VW Golf and a white VW Polo. The teenager was a passenger in one of the vehicles. Two other men in the same car, a 19-year-old from Polegate and a 21-year-old from Hellingly, sustained serious injuries. The driver of the second car, a 21-year-old, was also seriously injured.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Sergeant Ian Foxton, from Sussex Police's serious collision investigation unit, said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with those involved and their families. We are aware there were a number of people in the area at the time of the collision and we would ask anyone who hasn’t spoken to us or has any video or dashcam footage to get in touch.”
