Megyn Kelly has revealed what she described as a 'creepy' decades-old photograph of former President Bill Clinton, which she claims shows him 'looking down the chest' of her young friends. This revelation came precisely as Hillary Clinton began her deposition before the Republican Oversight Committee regarding alleged connections to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Photo from 1999 Emerges During Tucker Carlson Interview
Kelly dropped the photograph during an interview with commentator Tucker Carlson. Simultaneously, the former First Lady was taking questions from members of Congress at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center, located near the Clintons' home in Westchester County, New York.
The former Fox News anchor asserted that the image depicted two of her friends, Meg Florence and Abby Rittman, at The Bombay Club in Washington, D.C., in 1999. This was during Bill Clinton's presidency, shortly after his impeachment trial concluded with the Senate failing to convict him in February of that year.
'Yes, he is looking down the chest of my friend, Meg Florence, and that's my other friend in the foreground, Abby Rittman. He's basically got his hand on her side boob,' Kelly stated emphatically during the broadcast.
Context and Allegations Surrounding the Image
The SiriusXM host added that President Clinton was at the venue with his wife Hillary and their daughter Chelsea. According to Kelly, Clinton 'went over to their table, they were there with a bunch of guys too, introduced himself before you know it, he wanted pictures.'
Kelly noted that both of her friends were approximately 20 years old at the time and 'were just graduating college.' She characterized the photograph as 'evidence' that Clinton 'wasn't shamed at all' in the aftermath of the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
'I'm not saying this is a crime. I'm just saying not chastised at all as a result of Lewinsky,' Kelly clarified, distancing her comments from legal accusations while highlighting the perceived lack of personal contrition.
Chaos Erupts During Hillary Clinton's Deposition
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton's closed-door testimony was marred by significant disruption after Republican Representative Lauren Boebert allegedly took a photograph of Clinton and her attorneys during the private session. The image was purportedly leaked to MAGA influencer Benny Johnson and began circulating on social media.
Hillary Clinton's legal team requested an immediate halt to the proceedings upon discovery of the breach. Taking photographs during a closed-door congressional testimony is strictly prohibited for both lawmakers and witnesses. The deposition was paused briefly and resumed within an hour after the incident was addressed.
A Clinton spokesman told the Daily Mail: 'It's against chamber rules that were read at the top of the meeting. So the hearing has been paused briefly while they figure out where the photo came from and why, possibly, members of Congress are violating House rules.'
Hillary Clinton's Fiery Testimony and Accusations
Prior to the chaos, Hillary Clinton delivered a blistering opening statement. She blasted Republican lawmakers for targeting her while allegedly failing to properly investigate former President Donald Trump's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
The former Secretary of State stated she has 'no information on Epstein's criminal activities and never recalls meetings.' She then accused the committee of attempting to 'distract attention from President Trump’s actions and to cover them up despite legitimate calls for answers.'
Hillary Clinton pointed out that Trump's name appears more than 38,000 times in the millions of Epstein documents released by the Department of Justice in January. 'If this committee is serious about learning the truth about Epstein’s trafficking crimes, it would not rely on press gaggles to get answers from our current president on his involvement; it would ask him directly under oath,' she asserted.
Historical Connections and Ongoing Investigations
Despite her denials of any substantive relationship with Epstein, records show Hillary Clinton received a $20,000 donation from the disgraced financier in 1999 while she was fundraising for the Democratic National Committee. Furthermore, Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's notorious associate, attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding in 2010, years after Epstein had been convicted of sexual abuse.
Hillary Clinton has previously admitted to meeting Maxwell on several occasions. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking, standing as the only Epstein co-conspirator who has been jailed.
Bill Clinton is expected to face his own rigorous questioning, having been compelled to testify in a congressional investigation—the first former president to do so. His post-presidency relationship with Epstein was extensive, with flight logs indicating travel on Epstein's private jet to locations including the Virgin Islands, Portugal, Siberia, Japan, and China. Clinton maintains these trips were solely for charitable work.
Photographic Evidence from Epstein Files
Additional photographs from the Epstein files have surfaced, showing Bill Clinton in a hot tub with a woman whose face was redacted, and another image depicting him swimming with Maxwell and an unidentified woman. Notably, Epstein famously kept an oil painting of Clinton in a blue dress and red heels at his Manhattan mansion.
The Clintons initially resisted House Republicans' subpoena to testify about Epstein but ultimately agreed to the deposition after being threatened with contempt charges. The committee has stated it will release the deposition videos and transcripts after legal representatives for the Clintons have reviewed the content.
As these parallel narratives unfold—the unveiling of a personal photograph from 1999 and the high-stakes congressional deposition—the intertwined histories of the Clintons and Jeffrey Epstein continue to fuel intense public and political scrutiny.
