Jamie Laing Jokes About Nepo Babies with Son's 'Future CEO' Baby Grow
Jamie Laing's Fun Nepo Baby Joke with Son's Baby Grow

Jamie Laing took to Instagram with a fun swipe at nepo babies after buying son Ziggy a 'future CEO' baby grow for his company Candy Kittens on Saturday. The Made In Chelsea star, 37, welcomed the tot with wife and former co-star Sophie Habboo, 31, in December.

A Playful Nod to Nepotism

Taking to Instagram, Jamie proudly showed off the cute little outfit as he threw his support behind Ziggy taking the reins of the £15 million sweet brand when he is older. In the snap, the TV personality, who launched the company in 2012, showed off the baby grow which read: 'Future Candy Kittens CEO' along with a nepo baby hashtag. Sophie could then be seen cradling their son with the back of the outfit making a play on the vegan brand's slogan. 'I'm made with plants' had been cheekily altered to 'I'm made with Laing & Habboo'.

Conception Struggles Revealed

It comes after Jamie revealed he made his wife 'raging' in the bedroom when they were trying to conceive Ziggy. Appearing on Olivia Attwood's podcast on Thursday alongside Sophie, Jamie revealed that the pressure of trying to conceive meant he failed to perform in the bedroom. Speaking on Olivia's House, Jamie said of the pressure of trying to get pregnant: 'For some reason, every part of my being was like "don't do this" and I was like, "What's going on?" So, nothing was working.'

'Wait, nothing was working?' shocked host Olivia asked, as Jamie repeated: 'Nothing was working.' His wife Sophie then shared how furious she was at the time, saying: 'Raging, I was like, you're f***ing joking, this is f***d…' Jamie then shared of the pressure to perform: 'She [Sophie] was like, "I'm ovulating". I was like, "How long for?"' 'So the pressure got to you?' Olivia asked, as Jamie added: 'So much pressure, so much pressure. It was like so full on.'

Nursery Reveal

Last month Jamie and Sophie showed off their new nursery at their £12 million London home, unveiling a 'tranquil' space for their baby son Ziggy. The couple, who debuted their TV show this week following their lives as new parents, have created a serene bedroom for their first child in their recently renovated home. Following a Scandi aesthetic that they have used throughout their West London townhouse, the nursery is decorated in warm neutrals, complemented by a statement gingham wallpaper and soft furnishings.

The 'tranquil and cosy' attic room is filled with buys from high street brand Mamas & Papas including a £1,048 two piece cot bed and dresser changer set. The new parents have drawn inspiration from their own childhoods with Jamie, 37, selecting a green striped rocking horse for his son after remembering a similar piece from his own nursery. Sophie used a cloud mobile hanging above the cot to inspire the calm vibes of the room.

'Creating our dream nursery has been such an emotional and special part of the journey. We wanted a space that felt both beautiful and practical, and every piece we chose strikes that balance - it just feels perfect,' the couple gushed. 'There were so many decisions when preparing for Ziggy’s arrival and the guidance in our ‘Buying for Baby’ appointment made everything feel so much calmer and more considered.'
