Corrections: English Manager Trophy Win & Duke of Windsor

Corrections and clarifications

English football manager

An article previously stated that no English manager has won a major English trophy since 2008, when Harry Redknapp won the FA Cup. However, this is incorrect. In fact, Eddie Howe won the League Cup in 2025, as mentioned in the article 'Chelsea chaos theory delivers another trophy chance...' (27 April, p41). We apologize for the error.

The Duke of Windsor

In an article titled 'King’s perilous state visit' (25 April, p19), the Duke of Windsor (formerly King Edward VIII) was described as King Charles’s uncle. This is inaccurate; the Duke of Windsor was actually King Charles’s great-uncle. We regret the mistake.
